Yes — on both versions.
v2 only supports full-range positions. All capital is distributed from price 0 to infinity; there is no way to concentrate it.
v3 defaults to concentrated ranges but offers a Full range toggle that spreads capital across the entire curve — replicating v2 behaviour. Full-range v3 positions earn lower fees per dollar than concentrated ones, because the capital is not focused where trading actually occurs.
